Straightupshooter : Timeless song, a performance for the ages, I've heard so many world class singers sing this song but nobody connects with you with the meaning of the song as Judi, and that includes Steisand and Sinatra.

KL Wilson : One of the best performances of this song.  Gotta love Dame Judi Dench

mary e : This is my favorite performance of this song.  Brings me to tears every time. The emotion she conveys is heartbreaking. Love Judi Dench.

MollysBeautyLife : Timeless , beautiful performance

nonoy m : I'm not fond of musical theater but.....oh, shit....! This made me cry!

HarringtonTribal : 3:43 - BREAKS MY HEART . . . . . . . every time!!

Odd Doll : Judi, you are the best! Thank you!

Monica Portioli : I've heard this song from many beautiful voices ,maybe better than Judy 's but nobody touchs my heart like her and makes me cry. The way she says "no one is there" or sorry my dear give me a sense of loneliness.

Deborah Washburn : This is the best rendition ever! Dame Judi is so beautiful and not young even then. She lives this song. Who is the handsome cad?

Deidre Shand : It would've been great to see her in the early 80's as Grizabella the glamour cat wouldn't it??? Elaine Paige may have taken over role so well but we won't know now will we?

Jacqui B : This is the first time I've actually enjoyed listening to this song.

Avin Kesuma : I cry everytime I watch this video

Arlene Thomas : I remember her making a cameo appearance on Sesame Street when I was very little and amazingly, I cried and I'll never forget it cause my mom asked me why I was crying, and couldn't tell why.. This is definitely a beautiful song!(-:

elrynx2 : Heart is breaking. Fantastic to give voice to the absurd irony. A situation so devastating and ridiculous and there ought to be clowns... Thank you, Dame.

Cielomar Chua : it tears my heart hearing dame judi dench perform this beautiful lament of a song... goosebumps... brava!!!

Helen Olofsson : Fullkomligt magiskt!

profMike54 : wonderful

HKBekang : wow she is so good! made me cry

Gale Sinclair : WOW, what a performance. Love this lady.

timothy81 : it aint Easy, topping a Dame!  :)

Ashley Artus : Killed me. A mess for a week.x

Bill Brimmer : Marvelous!

JT C : You do realize that this song was written to tell a story. That is the purpose. I love Streisand's voice but she can't begin to interpret this song the was this brilliant woman does. This is not about listening to a pretty song... It is about expressing raw emotions.

onaona822 : It just kills me when she sings, "losing my timing this late in my career"....BEAUTIFUL!!!

gymini29 : it was called SMILES OF A SUMMER NIGHT, came out in 1955. Sondheim stuck very close to the Bergman's script.

Beedee Kay : Pardon my ignorance, but what was the original Film???

Ryhela : Back again. She is till the ultimate performer of this song. Brilliant.

gymini29 : don't bother with Movie musical, its dreadful, instead watch Bergman's original film. at least you will know the story much better. and its a fantastic movie

jsl1211 : It's overlooked...but the expression on the man's face helps add a bit more punch to this song. The pain of two people who kept being on the wrong page from each other knowing that it is finally too late for them.

Lizzie R : Gave me goosebumps Judi Dench is a goddess of the arts

BlinkinFirefly : I've never seen this show or read the script but I know the basic storyline....I really need to see the whole thing!

BlinkinFirefly : yea, this makes me cry. love you Judi!!!!

Kevin Lie : you don't cry by watching this but you will feel very very sad within.

tom fletcher : get dench!

george epooh : judi judi judi.... is there anything you can't do in theatre? anything!?

gucciboy58 : Quel talent qel elegance BRAVO mille fois BRAVO

Edson Cruz-Becerra : Cool but she said queer

tentruesummers : Brought me to tears, perfect.

Crisanto Jaluag : Can't help my tears to fall! So much emotions! Thanks Dame Judi for a very splended performance and for touching ones soul with such beauty and love.

PinkNarcissus : Definitely my favourite version!

pcdriver : Bernadette Peters in the background. Way long time ago she was a guest on the Tonight Show when Steve Martin was guest host. They were or had been an item at that time. She sang this song, obviously (even to me) in reference to their relationship. He greeted her at the end of the song with "You had us all weeping". Rather crass.

Ryhela : I keep coming back - the most brilliant rendition of this song ever. Jeez it tears your heart strings. One can almost feel the total heartbreak that is inherent in the words of the song. Amazing interpretation. Brava Dame Judy. Brava.

steve L : A performance for the ages, and brilliant proof that the art of singing is to tell a story. Which Judi Densch does magnificently. all tnhe while breaking your heart.

coffeemoosebear : god, i cried

Vdcapaz : Watched this a lot of times... but still affects me...

TheMarniemoonlight : @MeeMobobby No I always tear up....you feel her emotions!
