•icarus•イカルス : God... These guys were so ahead of their time, not only in their sound but this whole setup! Although Live At Pompeii floped at the time if it was released only 10 years later during the MTV era this would have been a giant success!

t mac : I don't always listen to pink floyd, but when I do, the neighbors do too.

evilmoif : Those Roman ghosts never had it so good

Chris Delacruz : I actually prefer this version of Echoes over the studio version. I know I can't be alone in this sentiment.

Mirko Visi : Just imagine the people living in Pompei back in 1971 hearing Pink Floyd's music played by that very band echoing from the historical site while walking in the streets or sitting on the sofa in their houses. That must have been mind-blowing

Hapi Hapi : Overhead the albatross Hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves In labyrinths of coral caves An echo of a distant time Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine And no one called us to the land And no one knows the where's or why's Something stirs and something tries Starts to climb toward the light Strangers passing in the street By chance two separate glances meet And I am you and what I see is me And do I take you by the hand And lead you through the land And help me understand The best I can And no one called us to the land And no one crosses there alive No one speaks and no one tries No one flies around the sun Almost…

Donald J. Trump : So no one else has noticed the drummers stick flip at 5:13? Pretty sick

Rising Sun : The fact that this was filmed with nobody in the audience just makes me adore Pink Floyd even more, it gives it this feeling as if this concert withstands the test of time, creating the illusion that the concert is live to anyone who watches it at any time, as they are the only audience spectating.

JL Chamberlain : David Gilmour, the king of note bending.

Udo Zander : I am now 66 years old - and Pink Floyd is still the best for me - pure goose bumps .....

Donald J. Trump : I can't stop watching this please send help

Олег Поляков : Gilmour looks like Jesus Christ here.

Gustavo Driotez : I thought that Zeppellin was the greatest band in Rock history it I was wrong.,

Fadin Pee : Gilmour is god.

Real-Time Car Travel : Don't forget to have eggs, sausage, chips and beans and a tea after watching.

One who knows revenge : Theres no band in the world like Pink Floyd.

Winter : 9:06 Love this part where you can see Roger Waters rocking out on his bass while Rick Wright is sat behind him keeping the music all sewn together with his amazing keyboard skills. Then a little later there's Nick Mason bashing his drums so elegantly, he then briefly looks over at Roger probably thinking "this is awesome" and then there's David Gilmour displaying his genius on that holy guitar of his. Beautiful.

Dharm Khalsa : When I was in high school around 1981 or so, 4 of us went to the local drive in theater (Hendersonville TN) to see this movie. We were the only ones there and so no one was working the ticket window. So we went and parked in the center of the parking lot and then took every speaker (100's of them) and set them on the ground pointing towards the car and sat out on the hood with our own surround sound. It was grand.

andy s : My friend turned me onto the group and the album Meddle and then like 3 months later he says " hey they just put out a new album. lets go get a copy. so off we went to pick up our copy of Dark Side of The Moon. The rest is history.

Classic Classics : 2:50 Hillary Clinton

Lily : David Gilmour was allowed, by the fates, to be perfect

Shawn Connolly : This entire film is simply brilliant, but this one in particular is special...has such a Kubrick feel to it.

Joshua : Making history inside of history.

Shehroze khan : OMG I'm listening 1st time !!! What a biggest song

jeng : wtf is this dude this is awesome !

Billy Arsenault : I love LSD. Nick Mason just blew my mind.

Floyd Rose : Eargasm, is that you?

Evan Tapper : Watching twelve David Gilmours jam simultaneously might be the highlight of my life.

slayer : Come diceva un caro amico che non c'è piu : "Ecco gli architetti del suono".

swatter 521 : I like this version better then the album...........

Jeff Tate II : I remember watching this on some good purple dot acid. You really haven't experienced this fully till you've tripped while listening. Closing thing to a religious experience I've ever had.

Y M : This is a masterpiece!

LeatherCladVegan : Ah OK. *Now* I understand why the Beastie Boys were paying homage to this, in their video to 'Gratitude'. Makes perfect sense.

zebra3stripes : I caught these guys on their farewell tour at the Colosseum in AD 83. Gladiators and Cher opened for them.

Guaca Mole : before waters became such a wanker

Hasslein Curve : Pink Floyd. Such wonderful vocals!! Dave Gilmour, Richard Wright, &....yep...Dave & Richard.

Shine Varghese Daniel : Those 10 minutes went by so fast...

turntableterrorist : you know a band has reached god tier performing at a ancient place like this

Carin Hall : David's looking mighty scrumptious with no shirt and that long hair, mmmm, mama likey!

yallow rosa : . the European Woodstock, in complete solitude ... .

Robert Cullen : They were probably the coolest band ever. And probably the most interesting

Aura Blaze : Has the thought, "The quality of music today pales in comparison to that of the 1960s or ‘70s" ever crossed your mind? Of course it has. It is no different for me. As a musician with a penchant for all things retro, I have taken it upon myself to reintroduce today's musical audience to the vibes of an era that defined the essence of Freedom, that donned valiantly the multicolored adornments of Unfettered Consciousness. If discovering new music is your trip, come and have a listen to Aura Blaze. You won’t regret it!

Miguel Hernandez : Alguien de Latinoamérica?

fuck off you twat : Nick Mason is such an underrated drummer

Livier Peji : Rock progresivo en su máximo esplendor...

beardogyup : David gilmour, fuzz face, guitar volume control= why I wake up, drink coffee and then continue to learn guitar every single day. Thank you!

John Lennon : they made history inside history

johnny zell : Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves In labyrinths of coral caves The echo of a distant time Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine And no-one showed us to the land And no-one knows the where or whys But something stirs and something tries And starts to climb towards the light Strangers passing in the street By chance two separate glances meet And I am you and what I see is me And do I take you by the hand And lead you through the land And help me understand the best I can And no-one calls us to move on And no-one forces down our eyes And no-one speaks and no-one tries And no-one flies around the sun Cloudless everyday you fall upon my waking eyes Inviting and inciting me to rise And through the window in the wall Come streaming in on sunlight wings A million bright ambassadors of morning And no-one sings me lullabies And no-one makes me close my eyes And so I throw the windows wide And call to you across the sky

mattofbass : I saw this movie when it was new in the early 70s. Awesome

Salvo Cali : Fuori dal tempo e dallo spazio
