Aaaal ! : Big deal. Change the distance each shot. Then I'll be mildly impressed. Current robots do this type of repetitive labor, BFD. Not to mention, Cue couldn't even make it onto the court on its own, let alone plug himself in.

DarkWing Duck : What is not sold as "AI" today. Even a CAD program can simulate these movements for many years, even as a bank shot across the floor. This robot stands in a closed (!) Hall, without wind, in a fixed position. He only has to repeat the same sequence of movements with the same amount of effort. Unsurprisingly, man eventually loses exhaustion ...

Tommy Peter Arthur Berg : This is about as impressive as building basketball cannon and putting a jersey on it

Daniel Barros Sobrinho : nada de impressionante, ele fica parado repetindo o algorítimo .

Adil Mohammed : man won as this robot couldnt even walk jump and had to be set up frm scratch with human intelligence. can a robot mak / create humans? this is absolutely stupid.

Bruce Baker : Move the robot around a little like a person moves, and see if it can hit it every time, this is just a mechanical movement every time it is exactly the same angle and distance , it can't miss...... as long as nothing changes, the ball goes to the same spot every time.........

Johnny dangerous : Future of sports. it doesn’t look like it because it may appear unsophisticated technology, but look up Sophie the robot then you will see what I’m talking about. I wouldn’t mind seeing this actually happening . At least I would know they are not on drugs which most athletes now a days are 85-90%

MJ NYC : Perhaps someday a robot could be made that could run around the court, dribble, pass and receive, block, catch rebounds, respond to referees, etc. Then robot manufactures might have a league of robotic teams that would vie for championships much as human teams do. Robotic cheerleaders -- no thanks!

focusontheargument : hahahahahahaahahah

Сергей К. : Всё дело в том, что робот чёрный.

Каирбек Сисембин : Потому что он чёрный?

Юрий Фоменок : Подстава это все. Нарезки видео

littlemas2 : When the robot beats these guys in a one-on-one game then I will be worried.

befingered : Best guess—they wanted to make a true robot that could aim in real time from different distances and under different conditions, but only got as far as a mechanical ball-tosser with good repeatability.

Igor Gabrielan : sport.ai

뿌끄루 : I think this is not robot, just Basketball shot machine. It shoot in same area. It Couldn't move, didn't have AI.

xzxfin120965 : I know how to make him miss, stick a Shaq jersey on him and put him on the free throw line.

SpongeBobaFett : This thing's just a catapult in a jersey

John Doe : Robo-pineapple wins!

Allen John : white man can't jump

David Kornish : now teach it to walk

a : It’s not that I imaged. I thought shoot position different for each shot.

THE CHEESH GOD : Cerby

karmajiro : 多分あと何百回やっても結果は同じなんだろうけどボールが一度もリングに掠りすらしてないのがスゴい。

中須賀航大 : ちぇ俺には勝てんな

南長崎Googl : 1球入れば全部入るのでは?

cirquemedia : Now I see why Toyota's cars are so boring...

aquarius3009 : ボストンダイナミックスやったら、どんなマシンを作っただろう...。
