Starry Night Skies : Well, I think I should tell a story. So, in September of 2018, I started taking music lessons. It started off with ukulele and then I started experimenting with bass. My teacher, Mr. Mark, was awesome. He taught me Crazy Train, Back in Black, and even Silent Night (for Christmas), all on the ukulele. He was there for me when I was being bullied and, despite him being sixty, he never belittled me for anything. My quirks, my braces, me being bullied, nothing. He was so supportive. Fast forward to January of 2019. We were working on Everlong. There was going to be a movie playing at the art center where he taught. We joked about being antisocial for a bit and I simply said, "Good luck, fellow introvert." The next week I was meant to have a lesson but I had to skip it because I was on a trip. I went back to the art center and was ready for my lesson. My mom decided to ask the gift shop owners if they knew where he was. That was when my mom came up to me, tears streaming down her face, and told me one of the worst things I had ever heard. He had passed, from a sudden, unexpected, heart attack. In the four short months I'd known him, I felt like he was my family. I cried. I cried for weeks. This was the last song he ever taught me. It's still so bittersweet to me. I always go into a trance whenever I hear it now. R.I.P. Mr. Mark.

Squidasaurus Rex : Holy shit. So this is what my 7th grade hippy art teacher played for us that day!

Filip Babic : Dave Grohl is my mom бля думал что горшок, а оказалось не то))

Hayden H : I played this song at my *wedding* for our first dance. Figured it was fitting since we met at a *Foo Fighter* concert back in 2003.   #Everlong <3

Rohan Kishibe and 『Heaven's Door』 : This was one of my main jams when I was in Green Dolphin St. prison in Florida.

FaustusFBI 3760 : A Simple way to measure good and evil is by measuring its movability. This goes back to the ancient writing of Hermes Trismegistus and is based on 2000 year old doctrines of the Occult which predate Jesus. Earth and Water and the Sun and Moon are the most immovable as nothing is as immovable as God in theory. Thus, Wind and Fire are agents of evil. A measure of evil is a measure of change and changability. Bear that in mind when looking at documents, reading books, or out in the world and looking at humanity. These scientists draw on ancient traditions and mathematics but do they really understand what they're up against in their battle against religion? To your battles against evil! I myself had a bout with vampirism. It can only be expelled through slow stability and understanding. Beware the fires of Hell. They will steal your identity and set you to change forever.

Harper : Every time I listen to this song I can see my brother playing air guitar in the kitchen. He introduced me to all my favorite songs.

Teresa Zephro BSc : RIP Shawn Terreri - had I had that big hand, I would have smacked all of your enemies just like that.

Francisco Alfaro Ferreyra : I was 14 years old the first time I listened to this song. At first I never paid too much attention to the lyrics and their meaning. Two months ago I met a girl and we started to forge a very nice bond. I'm not afraid to admit that I started to have feelings for her. Today she told me that she will leave the town next week to finish her studies, and that she will probably not return until next year. I'm happy for her, but I can't help being a little sad. And that was the moment I remembered this song, specifically "If everything could ever feel this real forever, if everything could ever be this good again". 11 years later, I'm finally able to give a deeper and more personal meaning to this song. And this is the story about why I'm here tonight. If you took the time to read this, thank you, it's late at night and right now this is the only way I can vent.

SciFyerGaming : I listened too this song... Now I'm a colony of plankton

Richard Marshall Bowman : The only thing I'll ever ask of you is you gotta promise not to stop when I say "when."

Pep Abukas : Each time I listen to this song, always reminds me about my youth and college time!

James Kennedy : If anything could ever be this good again.............

Max Resdefault : I don't understand how a genre like this could die. Alternative rock was amazing!

Teresa Zephro BSc : You need to grow your hand and fight your demons if you are going to get your act together. RIP SHAWN RYAN TERRERI. WE LOVE YOU.

Mauro Cabrera : When you are a bunch of plankton and a gay priest endows you with consciousness

luis molina : 🤘Mega Classico.!!😎 Time Good

Natasha Watson : Holy shit. So this is what my 7th grade hippy art teacher played for us that day! Damn, Taylor Hawkins in drag is hotter than my wife.

Tyler Gaskell : I've heard this song over 1,000 times and it still has never gotten old. I think it actually gets better every time I hear it.

Kate Potts : Holy shit. So this is what my 7th grade hippy art teacher played for us that day! I am tired of these jokes about my giant hand. The first such incident occured in 1956 when... No mercy for the epileptics at the end.

Space Media : remembering playing this on wii guitar world tour the best!

Caroline Brady : 12 yr old preteen, Foo Fighters fanatic when this album was released. 34 yrs old now and still obsessed! Some things can be this real and good forever... 😍  But this good again? To be determined...

Cassie Watson : I love how nobody has realized that dave is playing as Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols and Taylor plays as Nancy Spungen Sid's girlfriend

K o p e : My dad's favourite song of all time. Would have been 50 today. Happy birthday dad! <3
