Natasha rouge Nateaschea : were the cats dead or alive

Pheobe Owusu : This is the first one I've gotten right on my own since the green eye problem!

Henry Weng : The answer to the last riddle is 7 steps. You are supposed to solve it by working backwards from 25, as this greatly reduces the number of cases. When working backwards, the operations are either +3 or /2. One can organize these cases like this: Initial: 25 Step 1: 28 Step 2: 14, 31 Step 3: 7, 17, 34 Step 4: 10, 20, 37 Step 5: 5, 13, 23, 40 Step 6: 8, 16, 26, 43 Step 7: 4, 11, 19, 29, 46 Step 7 is the first step where there is an 11, so 7 is the answer.

Pheobe Owusu : Another riddle so soon! Is it my birthday?!

InDstructR : Wot... I think this is the easiest riddle so far... I mean I just did this in my head! Why so easy? ;P

Gavin : Move over, Bonus Meme. Bonus Riddle is the new most-loved segment of YouTube.

NX berry : It's a nice math puzzle but literally has nothing to do with giant cats, so the riddle could've been named anything

HitzCritz : 11 8 16 32 29 26 23 46 43 40 37 34 31 28 25 - 15 moves (first try) 11 8 16 32 29 26 23 20 40 37 34 31 28 25 - 14 moves 11 8 16 13 10 20 40 37 34 31 28 25 - 12 moves 11 8 5 10 20 40 37 34 31 28 25 - 11 moves 11 8 5 10 7 14 28 25 - 7 moves (optimal) My process was to make a random one and make it more optimal over time (I'm not sure if 7 is optimal but I can figure out a faster method).

Darth Vader : Boi i woulda just pic the damn lock on the door Super spy my foot

Texan Don : Is this even a riddle? This is just a math problem with stipulations and a story. I miss green eyes and three gods. Also inb4 "math problens are riddles"

Billy K : Yeah I can never solve these riddles

Anonyme User : *I hate Math more than my life.*

jaegamer : "Masters of spy-craft".....fell into what I assume is a single damn trap as a whole group.

StriKerZ : The answer to the first riddle is *literally* shown at 1:10

Kandy Turtle : Yeaaaaaa.... I dip when the math goes above addition 😂😂

Atheist In Louisiana : This isn't a riddle about cats at all! It's a math problem! I feel cheated. Moar giant cats!

Anonymous : I figured out the Bonus Meme....I mean riddle first you have to find how to get to 25, and you can only do that by subtracting, since you cannot x2 to get to it. 28 is the nearest one. so you halve it, which gets you 14, then halve it again, to get 7. you may think 7 is impossible to get, but remember we can -3 as well so we go to 10, and halve it to get 5. because of this the path has been laid out. you go 11-3-3x2-3x2x2-3 to get to 25 in 7 moves.

Justin Mutia : Finally! A Ted-Ed puzzle that I can solve! 😎😂😂

NOT THE REAL RYAN HIGA! : How could a 50% dead Cat terrorize a City?

CW DC TV Fan : For the bonus: idk if this is the smallest but I did it like this in 10 steps 1. 11-3=8 2. 8-3=5 3. 5x2=10 4. 10x2=20 5. 20x2=40 6. 40-3=37 7. 37-3=34 8. 34-3=31 9. 31-3=28 10. 28-3=25

Manrock1 : But I like giant cats...

Social Science : TED-Ed riddles aim to test your awareness skills and it is surprising to see that nobody noticed the solutions at 1:11 which the animator showed by mistake !!!!!!! Am I the only one who noticed it ? Like so that TED-Ed may know how it's mistake went unnoticed 😀

Ashay Dwivedi : 🐱

Laura C : 5-12-19-26-31-36-6-11-16-4-2-9-3-10-17-24-29-34-39-44-49-7-14 also works :)

Gerzen Gamer13 : looks like it's a cat-astrophic riddle 😏

scottbaino : My head hurts

Kevin Le : These riddles become more and more specific and so impractical, even when looking at the algorithmic, or "plain and unspecific" procedure, that there's no point in caring anymore. Cool animations and context to go with your riddles, you could produce a drama series, but that's it. You "learn" incredibly esoteric logic and math operations that you'll never have to use elsewhere in life unless you happen to, by rare chance, actually fall into such a situation. This is my opinion and though it IS YouTube and other people will greatly shun me, at least I've made my opinion clear for those who think the same and want assurance they're not the only ones who don't like these boring riddles. It's become so watered down I had to unsubscribe so it wasn't taking up space in my feed.

Manshal Chawre : One the some riddles from ted-ed that I could solve

unicorn lover : bonus riddle 11 - 3 * 2 * 2 - 3 * 2 -3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-

Lelouch Yagami : Bonus riddle Answer 7 steps: 11 8 5 10 7 14 28 25

I slightly change every name i reply to : Cool riddle, but Why cats then? They don't contribute anything to the riddle.

barak363363 : *Easy* 11-8-5-10-7-14-28-25

Marshall R. : For the bonus riddle do 11*2 then 22*2 for 44, then subtract 3 ten times to get 14. Double that for 28, then subtract 3 to get 25. :)

Clipper Cat : does anyone else think the intro music is creepy?

Chaitanya Singh : were the cats alive or dead?

A.G. Martinez : The giant cat army riddle IS ALIENS. Aliens that want you thinkin their way on their time with their thoughts forcing your eyeballs. And they dont think anything of it!! They NEED to propagandize us as much as possible FOR THEM, for thems satisfaction.

DarkrarLetsPlay : The long s (ſ) in 0:06 is wrong. ſ and s were not interchangeable and there were strict rules when you had to use ſ and when s.

Brendan Risney : Second puzzle solution: 11 -3 = 8 8 - 3 = 5 5 x 2 = 10 10 - 3 = 7 7 x 2 = 14 14 x 2 = 28 28 - 3 = 25 Don't know if that's the shortest, but it's the first I thought of.

Tomer Wolberg : after seeing the title: of course I can after seeing the video: 't

Lelouch Yagami : Got this one pretty easily

Tominator : 11 8 5 10 7 14 28 25.

AnyaMarie : Yes! For the first time I'm my life I was able to solve one of these God forsaken Ted-Ed riddles!

amanah tigetige : 4:39 11-3=8 8-3=5 5x2=10 10x2=20 20x2=40 40-3=37 37-3=34 34-3=31 31-3=28 28-3=25 I did it

behrad dehnadi : At 3:30 the other explanation that going for 25 is a bad idea is that when you square root the number you get 5, which was the number you started your series with, which causes duplication and that's against the rule.

Saukhya Telge : How many of you couldn't solve the riddle?;)

bob berry : Didn't watch the video but i already know i cant but I can pretend like I do

Max Deth : It goes 11, 8, 5, 10, 7, 14, 28, 25. As far as I am aware. If you find a quicker one, comment it.

Ashleigh : Yeah but tell thing is now that Ray could have hit a worm or ant. I would rather have a giant cat then ant or worm

Prapple : I like how they have to add “the only way to solve this is through this puzzle, you can’t get around it” for like every riddle
