Pan Tutaj : I'm still scared by this video. :D

jockadoobee : I'm sad that this song is still relevant in 2018.

Adam Cederblad : One of the best songs of the 80s with one of the absolute weirdest music videos of the 80s.

Pacero : I remember when it came out. The beginning of MTV, in the 80`s. Shit, am I getting old???

papakanelos sk : I must've dreamed a thousand dreams Been haunted by a million screams I can hear the marching feet They're moving into the street. Now did you read the news today They say the danger's gone away But I can see the fire's still alight Burning into the night. Too many men Too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Can't you see This is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth living in. Superman where are you now When everything's gone wrong somehow The men of steel, men of power Are losing control by the hour. This is the time This is the place So we look for the future But there's not much love to go round Tell me why, this is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth living in. I remember long ago  When the sun was shining The stars were bright All through the night And the sound of your laughter As I held you tight So long ago  I won't be coming home tonight My generation will put it right We're not just making promises That we know, we'll never keep. Too many men Too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Can't you see This is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth fighting for. This is the world we live in And these are the names we're given Stand up and let's start showing Just where our lives are going to.

CraziiDamon : I wonder if those puppets are stored somewhere... I would really like to see them in a museum or something like that.

Hans Solo : Better lyrics than anything we got today...and i wasn't even born when this song came out.Genesis and Phil Collins are the best!

mariutunio : So many easter eggs in this video. I don't think it's possible to find all of them.

gramurspel : This video clip is absolute fantastic. The puppets are amazing.

Matt Bailey : Do you like Phil Collins?

twinrg : How sadly relevant this song is up to now!!! People have lost their soul...heart and mind all at once. No more simple, straightforward human feelings, words, deeds...all is going woefully awry, vague, ambivalent, politically correct and insanely cold, almost robotic, devoid of respect and love other than for insatiable SELFISHNESS and masquerade of PRIDE and inflated EGO!!!

Vettel2011 : "That's one heck of a nurse!"

Cherie Anne Hendrie : for anyone who doesn't know, all of the puppets in the music video are from an old satirical tv show called "Spitting Image" :)

Robi_CK : 2:17 - I always liked that little nudge to the audience, that there are 2 Phil's puppets - one singing and one drumming.

BvousBrainSystems : Come on, the puppetry in this is goddamn outstanding. So many different puppets, so geniusly designed, and decently animated. The number of those puppets I think is what amazes me the most. These aren't drawings, you can't easily come up with them on the spot according to necessity, you gotta draw them, build them, perform, and some of them are only on screen for fractions of a second.

Time for Music : Anyone else saw MIchael Jackson at 3:46 in the background?

Matias Laguna : Dated??? this song is more relevant than ever in this days, just change the characters with Trump, Putin, Al-Assad, Putin, Kim, Le Pen and Maduro and you'll a nice alegory of todays world

Jeff Oliver : In the 1980's a satirical programme was on television in Britain called Spitting Image - they lampooned famous people with puppets, and people did very accurate voices of the subjects. It mainly lampooned politicians but often pop stars and actors too. Genesis approached them and said they'd like them to make a video of them for this song. Genesis were the only people, to my knowledge, who were lampooned by Spitting Image who then asked Spitting Image to make a video of them.

MrPeterpiper1969 : I just saw the version of this by "Disturbed" and I'm feeling very, very sad because nothing at all has really changed has it? I bought this when it came out (I'm 47 now) and my 20 year old son is living in a world that's no different than it was back in 1989 when I was 20. When the Berlin wall fell my dad was full of hope that our generation would be the one that saw a world at peace but now I think it won't happen in my son's lifetime or for that matter his children's if and when they come along. I bet someone could release this in 2043 (when my lad will be 47) and it will STILL be totally relevant. What a crying shame.

Bijan Adhikari : I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

Nick Lea : 1700 haters obviously weren't brought up in the 80's with Spitting Image (not mention The Yound Ones, etc.) - Ground Breaking, original and innovative... but obviously not by todays CGI standards.. get some perspective guys!

Rifleman Moore : Regan riding a Triceratops is perhaps one of the greatest things I have ever seen.

hosterialosguasimito : han pasado 30 años y ahora la cosa esta mucho peor que en aquel entonces...

www.DrumsTheWord.com : This song is made for drummers with double bass drum pedals.

Golem Golden : Anyone else freaked out to high hell by those "humans". brrrrrrrr they send chills down me spine with every look i take.

Aselene : Just watched this and the new ariana grande tune, jeeze chart music today by comparison is emotionless, clinical and baron/empty...forget devoid of any joy. There are good tunes out there but sadly don't get any airtime because kids trends just suck. Remember singing this tune walking back from school in the 80's, still one of my faves all these years.

BluesSister05 : As relevant today as 30 years ago :-(

gag halfrunt : spitting image - now they really could take the p*ss

azkiker : Funny thing is..... People nowadays look like the characters in this video with all the Botox, fillers and surgeries.

Freya Laus : Still so actual.... And I'm scared it will be so for a long time. Unless 40% of the world holds his breath for over 20 minutes....problems solved... Sorry, we are our own destruction....

Richard Coles : I miss spitting image so much... today's TV is controlled & crap.

Jane Metcalfe : Phil Collins thought about suing over his 'Spitting Image' puppet depiction when he must've thought. 'Do you know what? Let's make a video full of 'em and take the p!ss!' Let's face it..no way would they have got away with this if they had used 'real people.' This is the whole point of 'Spitting Image' puppets. It's satire. If you weren't depicted you weren't famous enough! Phil 'got' that, eventually. Also, if you look closely at the video it depicts Phil bashing his drums with his head (something he never did in real life) so this is a send-up of Genesis..and they've gone along with it. It's brilliant. The fact that the tune is relevant to then and now is an added bonus...er..sort of. You are meant to laugh at it though, not get too depressed. However, imagine what 'Spitting Image' would do in this Trump era. They'd have a field day! Nothing's changed!🙄

Carol Oakes : Bring back Spitting Image

Melina F. R. : I must've dreamed a thousand dreams Been haunted by a million screams But i can hear the marching feet They're moving into the street. Now did you read the news today They say the danger's gone away But i can see the fire's still alight There burning into the night. There's too many men Too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Can't you see This is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth living in. Ooh superman where are you now When everything's gone wrong somehow The men of steel, the men of power Are losing control by the hour. This is the time This is the place So we look for the future But there's not much love to go round Tell me why, this is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth living in. I remember long ago - Ooh when the sun was shining Yes and the stars were bright All through the night And the sound of your laughter As i held you tight So long ago - I won't be coming home tonight My generation will put it right We're not just making promises That we know, we'll never keep. Too many men There's too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Can't you see This is a land of confusion. Now this is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth fighting for. This is the world we live in And these are the names we're given Stand up and let's start showing Just where our lives are going to.

Ricky Greenleaf : 2017 going on 2018 nothing changes. But this is still an amazing song.

agi phone : I must have dreamed a thousand dreams Been haunted by a million screams But I can hear the marching feet They're moving into the street Now, did you read the news today? They say the danger has gone away But I can see the fire's still alight They're burning into the night There's too many men, too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go around Can't you see this is a land of confusion? ZD SKILLZ : My favourite Genesis Song.

Nowhere Man : This song is still so relevant.. This is still a land of confusion in 2016..

SUPREME EMPEROR MITTENS : SO MANY YEARS SINCE THIS SONG WAS FIRST RELEASED ... and guess what ... THE WORLD HAS GOTTEN EVEN MORE CRAZY !!!

B. F. : Most important message to human kind: nothing changes. Same shit, different year.

Kanibal 666 : This is The Music I Love To Listen

Miles Jolly : great song, I think the puppets are from Spitting Image which was a satiricial TV show in the UK in the 1980s and 90s, it made fun of basically everyone.

vitamindubya : The visuals are more disturbing than disturbed. Imagine the disturbed song w these visuals.

Tobias Wöhrmann : Who is watching 2017? Who thinks that the Song is very actual?

Darren Balderson : Wow why don't they make songs thike this any more

Violeta Lamo Zayas : OMG What is this song 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵

Axel stunt : Acá un comentario en español que buena música

Francesco Salva : Well... I'm 16, I always knew Genesis, but never listen to them, and I'm a metalhead. I came here because I wanted to know what the Disturbed song came from, since I know it was a Genesis' cover. And shall I say... it's fucking cool how Disturbed stayed true to the original. Looks like for ANY cover, they just stay true to the original and do it the best I can. So, this song fucking rules. Anything similar to this, with funky rytmhs and groovy sounds, by Genesis?

guelle kanista : World of Confusion.

Picnicl : It sounds like the greatest Peter Gabriel song not made by ex-Genesis member Peter Gabriel doesn't it? Similar kind of 80s modern soul confidence of production as Gabriel's Big Time, both on albums released in 1986. I can easily imagine Peter singing this.
