How to make vegetarian black bean burgers from scratch | plant based cooking (meal prep) Ingredients: * Black beans cooked w/ lentils, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, black pepper cayenne and salt. Optional: canned crushed tomatoes, or veggie broth for extra flavor. (season to taste) * mashed sweet potatoes * Crushed beets * dried oats * season to taste (salt pepper, all purpose seasoning) * egg or xanthan gum Mold burgers, burger size recommended is 3/4 cup Freezing them overnight (helps with structure) Fry in oil over medium heat or Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes (optional flip half way through)
