Hi-Fi Insider : I wouldn't stop for an unmarked "police" vehicle. You don't know who the people really are. These officers should have called uniform officers to make the stop.

Mr407Mike : Unmarked police shouldn't be making traffic stops. Especially minor violations.

Merlin Krisp : I hope the officer is ok. But ya they should have had uniformed officers make the stop

TheLeigha72 : I take issue with the comment that the police officer should not of been in plain clothing. You can see on the video that the police officers were not causing any harm to the individuals in the car yet one of them was so intent on getting away that he ran into oncoming traffic. It doesn’t jive with simply feeling like you were scared by an average citizen. In this case, I tend to believe the police officers identified themselves. The judgement of the individuals that were pulled over, was clearly poor.

SLAY 503 : Instant karma! 😂🤣 god does have a sense of humor! 🤣😂

Frank Musico : Leftie SFU criminologist says the cops were to blame. It figures.

Corn Husk : There is no such thing as a “routine” traffic stop

Steve Donaghey : I'm having trouble believing this is even a discussion. If a vehicle pulls you over with a siren and blue lights in the middle of downtown Vancouver. It's most definitely a cop. If they pull out a badge and say they're a Vancouver cop, they're a cop. If you're drunk and stoned and driving down the bus lanes on Granville and pull a person into your car and start beating them (whether or not they 'say' they're a cop) you're in the wrong and going to jail. I really don't see the argument here.

The Bitch is Back : Taking example from America I see.

Frank Musico : I would like to see these young men try that crap in the US.

Mr Glass : No reason to listen to them.

Tequila D'killa : Huge crime in progress ... stopped by undercover cops, who get punched for being out of uniform

Detective Jones : Press 4 over and over again to watch beautiful beeeeeautiful karma

289pinto : Known to police. Dont sound like a nice bunch of boys just in the wrong spot at the wrong time either...

Blank Spy : Awesome job by Vancouver police, however, best not to make any plain clothes uniform stops in the future. Glad these knuckleheads were arrested.

ALX Armed Liberation Xecutive : ©™ TMALX Transnational 🌏 Militant💥 Armed🔫Liberation⛓ Xecutive🕶 Observation ✍ ✍ Not police procedures that make sense.

Frank Huber : A uniform isn't proof that the guy is a cop. Find some other excuse to resist, odds are that the judge won't buy that one either.

Sebastie Cortes : They better be thankful this wasn't in America they'll probably would have been shot

Jason Wang : So suspects were known to them, playing clothes officers got closer to the crimes. Is this a routine traffic stop or not?

George Asfour : Thank you for keeping us safe and hope for a quick recovery to the officers

P Bebnowski : Cops got what they deserve

AliensAnonymous : WTF is an unauthorized stretch of a street? Is it a street or not?

24HERBS TV : Doesn't matter if cop in uniform or not there cops 24hrs a day and Vancouver is nothing but young punk kids causing trouble all the time with guns thinking there tough with gun but without gun there just PUNKS!!!

John Benedict : Punks lucked out. Assaulting cops would have got them shot in America

Mike Taylor : 1:01

Yan Yu : diversity is no ones strength eh.

Tournel Henry : How do I tell if someone is an officer or a robber if he/she is not marked?

Kim Chi : Cops fault

Grey Area : Did anybody notice the cops did NOT shoot anyone. When attacked they had the right to shoot. The guys knew they were breaking the law, who else was going to pull you over. They walked up said police lets see some ID. I admire these cops for not shooting them.

penguins forall : NO. plain clothes unmarked is extremely selfish and is enabling people to get taken advantage of. Do not do this.

officialghetty : This wouldn’t even make the news in the states

Brandon Schleifer : The fact that the officer wasn't in uniform is no excuse to commit violent assault. The antipolice rhetoric has gone too far.

ahub87 : I understand where both parties are coming from. These are crazy times and with just an emergency light on a non-emergency vehicle to do a routine stop can be scary. Any civilian can buy those lights just like any civilian can say they're police officers. However, once the uniformed officers were there, there shouldn't have been such a ruckus. I also don't believe the officers were pulling them over for a routine stop. I think they deduced that something else was at play and since the car being filled beyond capacity is a legitimate reason to stop them, they went with that. Which their hunch was correct since drugs were found.

Will Liu : Try this in America.

kevin dolan : I was hoping to hear that the guy died of his injuries after being hit by the truck.

Midnight City : Wtf is with the comments section. These people assulted the officers. I don't care of plainclothes or not they should be locked up for the assult.

Melania Cooper : This is a joke, you can already see that this people have taken the blame and that the officers are held as heroes when clearly they should not even stop that car

Cloudous : Just cause someone says they are a cop, doesn't mean i have to follow there orders, if they are plain clothes they shouldn't be allowed to do any arrests period, only testify in court,

hunky dory : That’s the respect good cops get because of bad cops. And good cops continue to protect the bad ones. And the government stands behind all its officers. So now no cops get respect. Who’s fault is that? When people get terrorized by police officers and are ignored by people and a police officer guilty of sexual harassment is privileged like HAROLD LINDSAY FRASER of the Medicine Hat Police and accepted by a police chief ANDY MCGROGAN as only a kind gesture, and the torture and torment and the fact that a man died is ignored by the government, then let the cards fall where they may.

Callandor : They manhandled a police officer and started beating threatening situation. If I was a police officer I would have shot them all dead. Lucky for these hoodlums they were not stopped by American cops.

George Simon : And here I though it was there job. Do cops only escort illegals across the border now?

m1 : Canada is doomed....

Nolafan77 : If wearing the uniform is too much of a problem, they shouldn't be cops.

MissCnn Cooke : They been doing it here states side... Y'all be careful back home... We call them "knockers" here... They just stopped plain clothing officers last year!!! Fight y'all, fight ✊🏿✊🏿

Buckwheat. : Here we go with the anti police BS.

Steve : Officers shouldn't be in plain clothes

Mr Sands : Cops should be allowed to use lethal-force against anyone who attacks them - that way criminals would learn to fear the law!

Billy Hamlen : Where are their guns? Should pull the gun in this situation
