Sustainable competitive advantage no longer arises exclusively from technology. The cloud, API economy, open-source and the fact that companies openly share their tech stacks have increasingly democratized technology. I always hear some leaders say that “we are not a technology company”. When technology is plug and play, every company is a technology company.
