Three DRSSTCs (Dual Resonant Solid State Tesla Coil) play "Africa - Toto" The static is due to the large coils striking objects and creating large amounts of EM interference. This causes the camera microphone to have a large amount of static and distortion. This song was written by Riley Weller, a HawkWorks member. The 8 foot Tesla Coil on the left is owned by KU HawkWorks The 6 foot Tesla Coil on the right is owned by Dan Grieves and Garrick Gorden The small red Tesla Coil in the middle is owned by Preston Rabe, a graduated member of HawkWorks If you would like to see more from HawkWorks, subscribe and hit the bell icon!
