Criley : *straight male critics LIKE YOU*

vickie g : that's a lana del rey fan fiction account

Stalin Valdez : Review Chip Skylark you Normie

fisk : 6:50 I believe the appropriate term is thicc

feroui hamza : the only men who can get lana are radiohead

ɪᴍᴀɢɪɴᴀʀʏꜰᴀɴʙoʏ : Melons can't "get" human music.

A2BS : can we have a "cringing with Lana Fan Fiction" episode

Kelly Dante : I clicked this video cos I thought Lana Del Rey was featuring on a Pitbull track... #DISAPPOINTED P.S. Will you be reviewing Tinashe's Joyride on TND soon?

Jane Ross : Suggesting that straight men can't appreciate femmeness is itself just playing to gay man stereotypes. This seems to be a fan of and believer in stereotypes.

Stalin Valdez : I haven't brused my teeth yet🙂 Edit: I took a shower and brushed my teeth while listening to Chip Skylard - My shinny teeth and me :)

Whang! : "Baroque" I don't think that word means whatever she thinks it means.

CheesecakeLasagna : Slightly disarranged shade glass on the frame or is it just the style? (I dunno how to fucking describe in English fml)

Kali Da Silva : ”Lana Fan Fiction” makes my body cringe 🙄

DogBeef : Her username is "Lana Fan Fiction" 😂😂😂

Mom's Spaghetti : You know the comment hurt when he goes on a minute-long rant about his lifestyle and habits

Venomous Vince : Lol Lana Del Rey fans, Beyoncé fans, and Halsey fans will always jump to "YOU DON'T GET IT BECAUSE YOU'RE A *STRAIGHT MAN* "

0Keerakh0 : Doesn't that first hot take essentially imply that women have inferior brains?

cowscowscows10 : Ugh I'm so sick of these straight white Melons, they don't understand me😭

aiken relkins : While I understand where Ms. Lana Fan Fiction was trying to come from... just no lol. In another context with another female pop artist, maybe that argument could hold some weight but wow what a fail.

dyldragon1 : Lana Del Ray makes music for thots that smoke two packs a day for the fashion

mikekachowski : How dare anyone call this amazing thicc vegan fat oh my god I’m literally crying and shaking.

Natasha B : "Women do things" -Anthony Fantano 2k18

Aidan Pye : I think that the term, "cultural appropriation", is tossed around too liberally. Just because a person borrows from a culture that they're not originally part of, it shouldn't make them racist. Many different cultures, as well as genres of music, borrow elements from other cultures and other sources outside of themselves. It seems like the people that cry "cultural appropriation" are the ones that are more likely to be racist than the ones doing the "appropriating".

zamba : to be fair you have to have a very high level of estrogen to understand lana del rey

AH Productions : I love Lana. Everyone has a different taste. You like Radiohead, i do too. You like Death Grips, I don't.

Julia Anderson : I think they "get" her music, it just doesn't particularly appeal to masculine men. And yes, I'm using stereotypes. Of course not all masculine men dislike her.

Venenoso : You’re not a man you’re a melon

Yung Jigglypuff : “R&B is more sexualized and has masculine friendly production” some of these tumblr chicks out of control

Luke C : Melon isn’t fat He’s thicc

brownguy903 : "Just like the boys can" sounds like the name of the next big indie band

Hey Jude : I like Lana’s music (sometimes) I think it’s catchy but it’s not some sacred women’s manifesto that only the most in tune with her femininity type of women can understand in fact in most cases it’s the opposite like teen girl bad soap opera that middle aged man trying to understand young women would write

FLOWER PUNK : LET'S ARGUE: Single-race people can't "get" logic

William Ritchey : What's up, everybody? You know who it is: THE INTERNET'S STRAIGHTEST WHITE MALE CRITIC. (lol on the real thanks for arguing NEO-feminist bullshit. Emphasis on "NEO". Love you, Melon.)

Hey Jude : So whose gonna tell sis that baroque music was male dominated and modern R&B music is predominantly women ... even men who make R&B music have to fight off gay rumors because “R&B is for Simps” cues Usher Chris Brown Neyo Trey songz Drake are all gay rumors because of the music they put out

Suzi Visser : To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Lana Del Rey. The writing is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of literature concepts most of the references will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also lana’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her stage persona- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Vladimir Nabokov’s literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this music, to realise that they’re not just intellectual- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Lana Del Rey truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Lana’s existential catchphrase “My Pussy Tastes Like Pepsi Cola,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Americana themes. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Lizzy Grant’s genius wit unfolds itself through her music. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a “Fuck me Daddy” tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the daddies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel sweaties.

Chaser Chaser : anthony is nicki manaj and reviewbrah is cardi b

sirdocblob : I would call Touche and La Dispute Melodic Hardcore

Outdated Meme : Anal Del Ray

I agree but, : LANA SIT ON MY FACE!

Cashew Chestnut : WRONG. antnee is a MELON

lucky guy : Did you just assume my melon?

Jose Perez : Melon where are your eyeballs

ari : Sometimes I just try to focus on Anthony's eyes through his glasses

Kirko : Drake is not a cultural appropriator due to the fact that Caribbean culture is heavily intertwined with black culture in Toronto. Making Dancehall music is paying homage to all of the people of Caribbean descent who populate Toronto. Its not a fad or a trend, Dancehall is all you hear in most urban Toronto clubs. Drake has had dancehall inspirations in his music since his debut album. If anything he is the reason we are seeing Dancehall's influence so frequently throughout mainstream pop.

Alexis Diaz : Melon spent 2 minutes of a 12 minute video just bodying a lana del rey fan account

Tony Harrison : To be fair, you need a multi millionaire father and a fetishisation of poor, small town American to really understand Lana Del Rey's music.

Bassotronics : I do not agree with Anthony @ 10:05. Just because a song has the lyrics that talks about horror does not make it a horror song. It’s the instrumentation what defines the song or the music. For example, just because I take a Techno song and talk about trap does not mean it’s trap. It’s still techno. So if I hear horror punk, I expect the music to sound like a horror (with ghost and goblins sound effects etc.) despite the lyrical content. But if you can take a song horror sound effects and at the same time have horror lyrics then you have a winning combination.

angela g : I like Lana but I understand why people wouldn't.

Carter Sheehan : The Cardi B thing is true bc Nicki Minaj made it that way. Before, there were TONS of rap females co-existing (Lil Kim, MC Lyte, etc) but when she came in she monopolized it and became catty with anyone who tried to opposed her by being her same gender.
