Joe Morrow : This is what I'm going to do,,no mortgage never again,,,

Jeff Stewart : Put glue in the hangers so they don't squeak. After the joists are in. You put on the rim board. You definitely know what you are doing. GOOD JOB LAD,,,,,,,,

anar kiszt : OMG the critics! He's building to code for Canada. If you take issue with it, take it up with our building code engineers who test those osb beams and etc. smh He has to build to code in a city or they'll condemn it on him when they inspect. It will undergo inspections at various periods during the construction. That's part of the building permit you have to buy.

David conway : Dude your a bad ass! Good job!

I'm sorry : You must undervalue yourself or over value other people. A labourer would cost $15/hr. Even if you took out a loan to pay him, it would free your schedule to make more money than you end up paying him and interest. Lol best of luck man.

dmm : Thereโ€™s an awful lot of weight on those two lightweight posts supporting the floor. Will there be a more permanent solution or heavyweight posts to take the weight of the upper floors?

Dan Remington : Nice job. I love building by myself. It's so peaceful.

EL DIESTRO DIY : Hey my friend a little advice do the videos 10 minutes at least YouTube like to push those type of videos more and I just subbed and notification on looking forward for the serie of videos

Bal Loney : You're so confident on the strength of the two thin boards that support the stuffs you are putting.

adonai cooper : Bro you are very inspirational. I'm in the process of building a house in Florida. Out of shipping containers. I'm not cheap but I'm very economical I don't want to get contractors my money. Good luck bro thank you. For your inspiration

Daz Han : Very inspirational...BUT...Safety is the biggest concern here. Those temporary posts should be at least three 2 x 6's nailed together and braced. Also in some of the later videos you're moving walls along the foundations, but you have icy conditions. Invest in some scaffolding or build some from 2 x 6's. You'll be ok this time, then you might be ok next time, but "Luck" only goes so far. I personally would encourage you to make many more videos, just take a safer approach. All the best !

fortnite isnt good : stop copying fortnite

Jon Clarke : So, did you not employ anyone else to help you because you're cheap or because you could not get anyone to help you because it's feckin' cold?

depression. : wife : honey I want a bigger house! this guy : hold my beer.

Bal Loney : You shd have started from the very start like showing how you build the foundation yourself. 2 C is 2 B lieve.

dfpguitar : As a British person I am completely baffled/astounded seeing this type of construction. Cannot een comprehend it. The the floor JOISTS are made of OSB? and the ground floor (the floor in this video) was constructed with the whole thing balancing on two upright planks, that we might use as scaffolding boards.

randy owens : Built two houses by myself while working a full time job, not hard but you have to put in a lot of time.

S.Roberts : This looks like Edmonton area..

Rob Kelch : HOW TO PROPERLEY CONSTRUCT A DEAD FALL TRAP

Frank Stocker : Did you get this pack from Ikea?

Jon Smith : Why u wearing a hard hat nobody is dropping anything on u your by yourself

Sergio Herrero : That is soooo Canada.

Apothecary of truth : Yep.. do this every day while the workers watch

Tommy Kennedy : The fact I can go to work and frame for 9 hours and still sit down and enjoy watching someone frame says a lot about how much I love being a carpenter. It can be a shit ton of work but it leaves you tired and feeling accomplished which is worth all the headaches that go with it.

Stuff : ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏYOOO๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ THEY MADE MINECRAFT IN REAL LIFE! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Thomas Burke : One word"LULL" ! Good job

John Doe : What's up with that OSB board and not real plywood? Doing this yourself especially when it can easily get wet, is not smart. OSB board easily damaged is.

NoPro : Home alone

Douglas Thompson : I am curious as to what construction adhesive you are using in a below freezing application? Seems most say use above 40F minimum. Not only for curing but it thickens so much below that that the tubes blow out. People don't realize what doing it alone entails for sure. Take care. Doug

Diesel Red : I was a little nervous when I saw you put in your beans without gluing and screwing them together code in our area requires that they be glued and screwed together otherwise they don't act as one they act independently and they wouldn't be strong enough to support the load. if it's not too late put some screws through that beam to hold it together

Nathaniel Reid : Where are the "feminist" wanting to be more equal than men.

perpetualjon : this is fantastic!!

godbluffvdgg : Good luck to you...Don't know why you don't have a helper but...To each, his own...Remember; once you get to the punch list; you're half way done...:)...Builder for 30 years...

Bobby Silver : Excellent job. I would have made the support columns a bit more substantial during the build. That whole floor was resting on two slim columns. Beef them up and brace diagonally when building. Then remove the bracing once all is solid. A sudden gust, or accidental jarring and the lot comes down and whilst not the end of the world could damage some timbers and rip out the wooden plates on the foundations.

Earl Wright : I would have at least made a tpost under the ends of the two beams for the weight, yes I know that is temporary

yanknoz : Got to say, my friend, you have done a most impressive job for one days work (and the first day at that!). Just subbed. Thanks for the upload. Looking forward to watching the rest of the build. Cheers.

awptions : was watching fort nite videos and next thing u know i've somehow came across this. no more fort nite. time to build a house for real

wildebtw : is this this Spruce Grove AB?

Rodney Erismann : A walkout... the worst type to have to frame by yourself. Well done.

Bierrr : Man you are living my dream! I hope to build my own house too some day.

IRISHbearBELLY America : Cheap wood quality

Michael Owusu Kyereko : cool. do you know how to build a brick house? i dont mean one with brick exteriro but brick as the structure

Mr808Late : I've built hundreds of houses, some on my own. Never underestimate the use of a school leaver or apprentice to hold the other end of stuff or even just to load out for you.

Don Steinberger : OSB for sill plates and beams ? Didn't see you laminate your beams with glue or nails. Don't know about codes there. Looks sketchy !

Stealthcola : OSB SUCKS

johnny llooddte : youre insane

johnny llooddte : been there dunn that

Copper Creek Cuts : 3:31 THEM MOVES!

Essential Mountain Homesteading : Great video, love the tips and tricks

sarcasmo57 : Looks cold.
